TRANSPORTATION
Getting to the County
The easiest way to get to Prince Edward County from Toronto is by car. The drive takes about two and a half hours along the 401 and offers a smooth, scenic trip into wine country. For those without a car, a train (see VIA Rail) or bus (see FlixBus) to Belleville followed by a short taxi or rideshare into the County is the most convenient alternative. If you are traveling from abroad and would prefer to carpool rather than rent a car or arrange other transportation, please reach out to Isabelle. She can help coordinate options.
Getting around the County
The best way to get around Prince Edward County is by car. The towns and wineries are spread out, and having a vehicle makes it easy to explore at your own pace. Local taxis and rideshare services are available but limited, so booking ahead is recommended if you plan to travel without a car.
Getting to the Wedding
The Brighthouse Farm venue is easy to reach by car and is about a 5 to 15 minute drive from the various main towns in Prince Edward County. Plenty of parking is available on site. We will also be running shuttle services to and from the venue for guests who prefer not to drive. Local taxis and rideshare services are available but limited.
